Disputes

Representation in commercial, tax and property disputes, in pre-action negotiation and in court proceedings. The procedural approach is based on an assessment of the facts, the evidence, the legal arguments and the client’s commercial objective.

Focus

  • Disputes between business partners and between shareholders
  • Contract claims and damages
  • Tax disputes and administrative litigation
  • Property and construction disputes
  • Pre-action negotiation and settlement
  • Representation in court proceedings
  • Securing and enforcing claims

Approach

Before proceedings start, the client receives an assessment of the evidence and the legal arguments, including their weaknesses.

Large document sets are turned into a chronology and an evidence schedule that are kept up to date as the dispute develops.

Settlement is recommended where it is better for the client than the outcome that can reasonably be expected from the proceedings.

Contact

For an initial assessment, a brief description of the situation by email or phone is enough.
